https://romana.s3.am...Con il seguente decreto del prelato del 10 aprile 2022 è stata costituita la Quasi-regione dell’Europa del Nordovest, nella quale sono state inserite le ex circoscrizioni di Gran Bretagna, Irlanda, Olanda e Scandinavia. La sede di governo della nuova circoscrizione è Londra. Sedi di appoggio sono anche Dublino e Amsterdam.

DECREE

In order to attend better to the apostolates of the Prelature, having consideredc.121 of the Code of Canon Law and nn.150, 151, 152 §1, 154, and 155 of the Statutes of Opus Dei, in agreement with the General Council and the Central Advisory, and having heard the legitimate representatives of the circumscriptions in question, with this decree

I ESTABLISH THAT

1. The quasi-region of Great Britain, the quasi-region of Holland, the quasiregion of Ireland, and the delegation of Scandinavia directly dependent on the Prelate are hereby united and form the quasi-region of Northwest Europe, which comprises the territory that pertained to these four circumscriptions.

2. The rights, obligations, and other juridical relations heretofore held by
the quasi-region of Great Britain, the quasi-region of Holland, the quasi-region of Ireland, and the delegation of Scandinavia directly dependent on the Prelate, are hereby transferred, with their respective assets and documentation, to the quasi-region of Northwest Europe.

3. That which until now was the headquarters of the quasi-region of Great Britain will serve as the government offices of the new quasi-region of Northwest Europe. Moreover, there will be two other government offices in the same locations that until now were the headquarters of the quasi-region of Holland and the quasi-region of Ireland.

4. Also, I hereby delegate to the vicar of the quasi-region of Northwest
Europe all the faculties required by Law in order to carry out all the necessary procedures, before any authorities and agencies, that may be called for by the reorganization established in this decree.
