From January 8-28, Msgr. Mariano Fazio visited the Opus Dei delegations of Monterrey and Guadalajara, Mexico. He met with many faithful of Opus Dei and visited the apostolic works in eight cities in that area. He held academic sessions at the Universidad Panamericana in Aguascalientes and Guadalajara. He also had work meetings with the directors of various educational works at the IPADE sites (Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa) in Monterrey and Guadalajara.

From April 30 to May 21, he visited Chile. He spent time in the capital, as well as in Concepcion, San Fernando and Antofagasta. As in Mexico, he met with groups of the Work’s faithful, cooperators and friends, and held work meetings with the directors of many apostolic initiatives.

From June 3-9 he was in Poland. He met with people involved in the apostolic work in Warsaw. On June 6 he gave a lecture at St. John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin on Secularization and Christianity. A challenge for our times.
