Barcelona (Spain), July 25-27
Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz prayed in the Basilica of La Merced on July 26. That afternoon he had two meetings with supernumerary faithful of Opus Dei, observing all the necessary health measures.
Zurich (Switzerland), July 27-30
The Prelate was in Zurich from July 27-30. He took part in several get-togethers with people of Opus Dei. He also went to pray at the tomb of Toni Zweifel, an engineer whose cause of beatification is underway and who was a faithful of the Prelature.
Vienna (Austria), July 31-August 3
During the first days of August, Msgr. Ocáriz visited the faithful of the Prelature in Austria to encourage them in their evangelizing zeal. During his stay in Vienna, he prayed before Our Lady of Mary Pötsch, at the Cathedral. On August 3, he continued his journey to Budapest and Zagreb.
Budapest (Hungary), Zagreb (Croatia) and Ljubljana (Slovenia), August 3 to 6
Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz was in Budapest (Hungary) on August 3. There he spent some time with people of Opus Dei and their families. That same day he continued his trip to Zagreb and Ljubljana. In Ljubljana, on August 5, he met with families in the Vintgar university residence.
Milan (Italy), August 6-8
In his meetings with small groups of people in Milan, the Prelate of Opus Dei was eager to offer consolation and learn first-hand some personal stories from the Italian region most impacted by the pandemic.
Torreciudad (Spain), August 18-21
Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz celebrated Mass at the Shrine of Torreciudad on August 20. During the homily, he thanked God and our Lady for the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood, which he had celebrated on the 15th of that month. Over three days he held several meetings with groups of people – mostly young people – who were participating in various workshops of Christian formation.
