Establishment of the Circumscription of Central America

With the following decree of the Prelate, dated May 23, the circumscriptions of the Quasi-Region of South Central America (which included Guatemala and Honduras), the Region of North Central America (which included Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama) and the Quasi-Region of El Salvador were unified, constituting a single circumscription under the name of the Region of Central America:
