From the Auxiliary Vicar

On January 28, Msgr. Mariano Fazio met with faithful of the Prelature and cooperators in Logroño, in the Alcaste School.

On the occasion of the erection of the new circumscription of Colombia and Ecuador, the Auxiliary Vicar traveled to both countries from February 20 to March 4. He visited Quito, Guayaquil, Bogota, Cartagena, Cali, Medellin and Bucaramanga. He met with the regional directors and had a number of get-togethers with the faithful and cooperators of the Prelature, transmitting the Prelate’s intentions and fostering union with the Pope. He also stressed the need to care for the common good of these countries through Christian formation and social initiatives. He gave two conferences on “Freedom to Love”: on February 22 at the Torremar School in Guayaquil and on February 25 at the University of La Sabana in Bogota.

In Madrid, on April 19, he took part in the colloquium “In Search of Freedom,” organized by the University of Navarra and Ediciones Rialp.
