Ediciones Rialp has released the first paperback edition of Cartas (I), a collection of unpublished texts by St. Josemaría, published for the first time in September 2020. St. Josemaría transmitted to the faithful of Opus Dei the message of holiness in ordinary life through his oral preaching and writings. An important part of the latter are the Letters, in which he explains the nature and apostolates of Opus Dei.

Volume I includes the first four Letters, based on his early years in Madrid (1930-1933). All of them illuminate the itinerary of Christian life in the middle of the world, and thus are open to all readers interested in the message of holiness in their own daily life. The topics of the first four Letters are ordinary life as a path to holiness, humility, the mission of the Christian in social life, and charity in spreading the faith.
