During the 2018 academic year, the Vereda Cultural Center in São Paulo put into action the Performance Project. This is a program aimed at adolescents to assist them in their human development in the intellectual, social, and emotional realms. Upper class students from various high schools in the metropolitan area took part. They reflected on topics aimed at helping them to grow in self-knowledge and to recognize their own potential as well as their limitations. A parallel program of talks was offered for parents to help them better understand the context of their children’s lives and how to support their growth more effectively.
