On the afternoon of February 14, Bishop Carlo Villano of Pozzuoli-Ischia blessed a painting of St. Josemaría in the chapel of the hospital on the island of Ischia, located at the mouth of the Gulf of Naples. The painting is the work of the artist Sofia Novelli. The initiative to commission it for that chapel came from a cooperator of Opus Dei, Dr. Ciro di Gennaro, director of the hospital’s emergency department.
