The Shrine of Lo Vásquez and St. Josemaría (Chile)

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of St. Josemaría's visit to the Marian shrine of Lo Vásquez, in Chile, Fr. César Flores, vice rector of the shrine, has organized a pilgrimage of a replica of the image to various apostolic works of Opus Dei in the country. The pilgrimage, from July 25 to August 14, is part of a broader tour that has also taken the Lo Vasquez image of our Lady to other important places in Chile, during the second half of August and the first week of September.

During these days, Our Immaculate Lady of Lo Vásquez has been at the Policlínico El Salto, the Tabancura, Los Andes, Huelén, Cordillera, Los Alerces, Huinganal, PuenteMaipo and Trigales schools, the Universidad de Los Andes and its clinic and the Centro de Salud de San Bernardo.

On July 28, the pilgrim image also presided over the Prelate of Opus Dei’s get-together with families at the Movistar Arena.
