Audience of Pope Francis Granted to the Prelate of Opus Dei (January 30, 2020)
“Follow the example of the first Christians”
On January 30, Pope Francis received in audience the prelate of Opus Dei, Msgr. Fernando Ocáriz. He was accompanied by the auxiliary vicar, Msgr. Mariano Fazio. During the meeting, which lasted about thirty minutes, the Pope expressed his affection for the apostolates of the Work and encouraged them to follow “the example of the first Christians” in the evangelization of society.
In imparting his blessing, the Holy Father extended it to the entire Prelature and to those who participate in its apostolates.
