Holy Rosary printings reach a million copies

During the Year of the Rosary, decreed by His Holiness John Paul II, new editions of St. Josemaría’s Holy Rosary were published in various parts of the world. In some countries such as Uruguay, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Chile, these were the first locally printed editions. In other countries such as Ecuador, Japan, France, Italy, and Poland, they were new editions. In every case they included an appendix with the “Mysteries of Light,” with texts taken from the preaching of St. Josemaría. Some 350,000 copies were printed during the year, bringing the total number of copies in print to over one million. Many of the new editions include a section explaining how to say the Rosary.
