Commentaries of St. Josemaría on the Mysteries of Light of the Rosary

The Holy Rosary, written in 1931, naturally contains no reference to the new ‘mysteries of light.’ But Saint Josemaria often contemplated and preached on these Gospel scenes as an expression of his great love for all that Christ did and said. Therefore we have included here some texts from the writings of the Founder of Opus Dei that make reference to the luminous mysteries, to help readers meditate on the complete Rosary.” With these words, Bishop Javier Echevarría introduces the texts that have been incorporated in the new editions of Holy Rosary, in accord with new mysteries that the Pope recently added to the traditional fifteen mysteries of the Rosary.

During these months, editions of Holy Rosary, including the new texts, have been published in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Italy, Japan and Spain, with combined printings of some 150,000 copies.
